SimIS attends Israeli Unmanned Systems, Naval & Avionics Defense Delegation Conference at ODU’s VMASC
At the invitation of Governor Ralph Northam, the Israeli Ministry of Defense brought a delegation of 20 Israeli companies with autonomous systems, avionics and naval technologies to the Commonwealth of Virginia February 3rd-6th, 2020. The Israeli companies were in the market for suppliers and R&D, manufacturing & sales related teaming partnerships with Virginia companies, as well as, meetings with Federal and State Agencies (e.g. Army; Navy; Marines; Coast Guard; National Guard; HLS; State Police and Emergency Responders).
On February 5th, ODU’s VMASC housed the Israeli Unmanned Systems, Naval & Avionics Defense Delegation. The lectures and panel discussions focused on unmanned systems and modeling & simulation efforts. After the lectures and panel discussions, business to business meetings were set up between the Virginia companies and the Israeli companies. SimIS was able to have meetings with four Israeli companies that attended. Great connections were made and we hope to be able to work with them in the near future.
