SeaPort-NxG

SimIS Inc is a holder of a prime contract supporting the U.S. Navy called SeaPort Next Generation, or SeaPort-NxG. SimIS will provide engineering support services and program management support services for the new version of its massive SeaPort contract that dates back nearly two decades and pulls in $5 billion a year in task orders. There will be 23 functional areas under two work categories: engineering support services and program management support services. Scope of work mentioned in the solicitation notice includes: systems engineering, software development, research and development, system design documentation and technical data, configuration management, information technology and logistics support.
